This configurator is for users who are interested in Geotagging and Camera control. Answer the questions below and we will provide the appropriate setup for your case.

Follow along and answer the questions, we will include the correct accessories and updated pricing.

Notice for Wiris users:
Camera control is done via SBUS output, geotagging is done via MavLink forwarding (including DJI drones). We do not include a cable for MavLink connection, you will need to wire-up own serial connection from original connection cable.

Notice for ViewPro users:
Camera control and geotagging are done via serial connection. We do not provide cable for camera connection as differs from model to model. All you need is to connect GND+RX+TX pins.

Notice for ShareUAV users:
For ShareUAV cameras, we will include a ShareUAV connection set. Camera control and geotagging are done via serial connection. Geotagging is available only in original ShareUAV mode. Manual for installation is here.

For ADTi Surveyor cameras we will include ADTi connection set. Full camera control and EXIF geotagging are available together.

Camera control mode:
There are two modes you can select for Sony ILX-LR1. Plain ENTIRE can during GeoTagging control the camera only via Wifi, because USB is used for geotagging. WiFi control works very solid and user friendly way for ILX-LR1, but there is also option to use LR Expander for full camera control during geotagging. LR Expander module needs camera disassembly and may void warranty! Select your option:

Full Control & Geotagging via LR Expander (+LR Expander) THIS OPTION COMES LATER THIS YEAR! Stay tuned!
Control & Geotagging via WiFi (No addition)

Camera control mode:
There are two modes you can select for Sony cameras. Plain Entire can during GeoTagging control the camera only via IR or via Wifi, because USB is used in MassStorage mode. As IR commanding is limited (MENU access and Arrows shortcuts) and WiFi is sometimes unstable or unavailable (can be used only at newer cameras without SmartMemories application – A7R3 and older), there is option to use SmartPlug for full camera control during geotagging. Because price matters, please select your option:

Full Control & Geotagging via SmartPlug (+SmartPlug)
Control & Geotagging via WiFi or IR only (No addition)

Select camera model category:
Here we will select proper SmartPlug model. Please note that SmartPlug needs 12-14,5V power input!
